Benidorm Pride — September 1–7, 2025
Benidorm Pride returns for its 15th edition, cementing its place as the “European Summer Closing Pride” with a week-long celebration of diversity, culture, and community.
Festivities kick off Monday, September 1, with themed nights, drag shows, and DJ sets energising the Old Town. Highlights include the midweek pool party at Marina Resort Hotel and the elegant White Party at Auditorio Julio Iglesias.
The main event — the Pride Parade — takes place Saturday, September 6, starting at 17:00 from Rincón de Loix, winding along Levante Promenade to the Julio Iglesias Auditorium. The celebration continues with live music and drag performances on the Main Stage, followed by the Kluster After Party at Penelope and the official Closing Party at Parque de l’Aigüera’s Óscar Esplá Amphitheatre.
Cultural events round out the programme:
Voices exhibition by Javier Navarrete (El chico llama) at Casa del Fester
Cine con Orgullo film night on Wednesday, featuring Pride and Muerta en la bañera, with director Juan Dresán receiving the LGBT Tolerance Award
Benidorm Pride continues to evolve as a platform for inclusion. The City Council recently reaffirmed support for LGTBI+ rights, reinstalled rainbow flags, and unanimously approved a 2024–2028 plan for Disability, Family, and Gender Diversity. The plan outlines four strategies, ten goals, and 23 measures to combat discrimination.
Mayor Toni Pérez and Equality Councillor Ángela Zaragozí praised Pride’s growing cultural relevance and Benidorm’s status as a city of inclusion. Organisers expect around 20,000 attendees.
